Six years on the same street and I still walk to work. It is quieter than people expect once you are off the main road, and everything we need is within ten minutes.
We moved out here for the space and stayed for the neighbours. Newer buildings, wider roads, and the schools are close enough that the children walk themselves.
A good mix of young families and people who have been here twenty years. Rents are fair for what you get and the market at the end of the block opens early.
